Youth Group Membership

NAP is committed to working with youth groups and organizations to advance understanding of the principles and practice of democratic decision-making.

Student groups interested in learning parliamentary procedure may apply for NAP Youth Group membership. The students must be enrolled in an educational institution or be members of a youth association and organized as a group to study parliamentary procedure under the sponsorship and continuing supervision of an NAP member.

To apply for membership, the youth group’s member-sponsor must submit the following application form and attach the group’s bylaws for approval by the NAP Bylaws Committee, as well as the annual dues of $27 (contact NAP for payment options). Once the application and bylaws have been approved and the dues received, a membership certificate will be sent to the group’s NAP sponsor.
