This presentation will explore the rules for the motion Limit/Extend Limits of Debate and assist attendees in the application of those rules. Among other important information, learn the difference between (1) limiting or extending the number or length of speeches and (2) requiring, after a specified length of time or at a certain hour, debate to be closed as well as the meaning of the terms “order” and “exhausted” in the context of this motion.
