The goal of the NAP Educational Foundation (NAPEF) grants is to support the use of parliamentary procedure in promoting effective, fair, and democratic decision-making.
NAPEF funds projects that will enhance and increase parliamentary education for both non-parliamentary and parliamentary organizations/individuals by making opportunities available for the production of professional parliamentary materials, services, and events.
Activities that may be funded by NAPEF grants include:
- Selection of proposed materials, content, or educational events based on RONR (12th Edition) and vetted by NAP professional parliamentarians
- An objective method that would evaluate the effectiveness of the project on a continuing basis for the grant recipient organization’s leadership training and growth
- A project that could easily be included as a segment of the NAP online learning program.
Deliverables include videos, training courses, workshops that yield parliamentary training materials, recordings of parliamentary workshops, photos of the projects under way to be used in marketing future parliamentary endeavors, among others.
Content of submitted proposals must be based on RONR (12th Edition) and vetted by qualified parliamentarians.
Application Instructions
Grant applications must be submitted at least 2 months prior to the targeted start date.
By submitting a grant application, you agree to provide the following:
- interim report at the mid-way point of the project
- final report within 15 days following the completion of the project. The post-project report must include a summary of evaluations and a final budget detailing grant-funded expenses.
