Workshop announced
February 15, 2006
The Springfield Unit has announced a public workshop on constructive debate, to be held July 25, 2006 at the Springfield Public Library's main branch. Location and registration information will be posted on the event calendar on April 1.
New unit forming in Freeport
February 4, 2006
A mass meeting will be held on March 15, 2006, at the Freeport Town Hall to discuss the formation of a new NAP unit. Members of the public who have an interest in learning how to run meetings more efficiently and fairly, as well as current SSAP members in Jackson County, are encouraged to attend and learn more about the benefits of joining an NAP unit. SSAP president in the news
January 18, 2006
SSAP President Pat Hill addressed members of the Newton Rotary Club at their annual meeting last Wednesday, describing leadership development opportunities in SSAP. Pat's comments were picked up by a reporter covering the meeting for the Newton Gazette, and resulted in a two-column story on SSAP and its annual leadership forum. The 2006 leadership forum is scheduled for October 2-3. |
