Do you want the process of nominating and electing the leaders of your organization to run smoothly? Learn the procedures for transparent and fair elections that inspire members' trust and confidence. In this basic course the beginning learner will learn how to handle nominations, manage elections, and conduct ballot voting. The learner will apply his knowledge by using a mock election script to practice counting and reporting the results.

In the section on nominations, you will learn the purpose of nominations, six methods of nominating, and the rules related to nominating committees and nominations from the floor.

The section on elections will provide the learner with the basic knowledge of how bylaws govern elections and five methods of voting in an election.

The third section is devoted to voting by ballot. You will find out about types of ballots, opening and closing polls, counting votes, and reporting the results.

A high-speed internet connection (cable, DSL, wireless, or a corporate network) is strongly recommended.

You will have access to the course for 60 days from the date of purchase. You can review the course as often as you like during this time; your progress will be saved for you when you exit the course so that you can resume where you left off. At the end of the 60-day period, your subscription to the course will expire.
