PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
A new year.
With the holidays behind us, some are finally relaxing from the flurry of family, friends, and food. Many are getting back into the rhythm of everyday life without our breaks. But let’s take a moment to think forward, to what is coming.
This can be a year of normal. This can be a year of that which we are already accustomed to. This can be a year of what we already expect and planned for. Or…
This can be a year of new possibilities. A year to stretch your own abilities and expectations. A year to try something new, and dive headfirst into it. A year to expend your universe to include new people, new ideas, and new approaches.
Within these pages, you’ll find the call to this year’s MSAP Spring Convention. If you’ve never attended, make this the year to choose to expand your NAP universe by attending. If it’s been a while since you’ve attended, come back and see what is to be learned. If you are a regular, our guest, NAP Vice-President Ann Guiberson, will be on hand to give us all the newest info from National as well as give one of her always well-received educational sessions. There is certainly something for everyone who attends.
Take a chance and attend the convention. Go further and provide an article for our MSAP newsletter. Volunteer to provide assistance for a local non-profit who needs some training for its newest board members.
We can all gain from change this year. How much is up to you.
