Membership in the Illinois Association of Parliamentarians
|
Leadership
IAP provides opportunities for members and guests to develop and exercise leadership skills. Learn how to facilitate smooth-running meetings, support an organization as an elected officer, and organize meetings and conventions of any size.
Effectiveness
A healthy organization benefits from the creativity of all its members. Does your organization overlook good ideas when somebody with a louder voice or more political clout expresses a different opinion? Learn how to propose and discuss ideas effectively in a manner that everyone agrees is fair.
Resources
As an IAP member, you'll receive member discounts on a wide variety of resources available from the National Association of Parliamentarians.
Join Us!
Join IAP or one of its units, and learn how to be an effective participant and leader in the organizations you care about. Contact Elaine Johnson at ejohnson2@eqrworld.com to find meetings and workshops in your area.
