NAP Educational Foundation
Incorporated in January, 1984, the NAP Educational Foundation  was organized to receive and disburse funds to the National Association of Parliamentarians to support the development of educational materials and other educational programs. Over 450 members of NAP have joined the Foundation in support of its mission.
Over the past 20+ years the Foundation has assisted NAP's educational needs by:
- Underwriting NAP educational materials development and consigning them to NAP for sale.
- Co-sponsoring parliamentarians from NAP's six Youth Partnership organizations to attend NAP biennial conventions.
 Enabling members of NAP who are full-time students to attend NAP conventions or National Training Conferences by awarding scholarships.
- Providing a monetary grant to NAP to market educational materials.
Who Can Join
Any NAP member can become a member by contributing at least $25 per year, renewed annually.
Life Membership
Any foundation member who has contributed a total of $1,000 or more to the NAP Educational Foundation through the years shall be elevated to Life Member status. No further contributions are required to maintain membership.
Levels of Giving
Life Members who contribute greater amounts are recognized by special pins mounted with gemstones:
- $3,000 — sapphire
- $5,000 — ruby
- $10,000 — diamond
Special Life Membership Recognition
Benefits to becoming a Life Member:
- Have your name engraved on a plaque permanently displayed at NAP Headquarters
- Receive a Foundation Membership Pin
- Be recognized in all convention programs
- Be recognized at all Foundation events
- Have your name published on the Foundation Life Member pages of the NAP Membership Manual
- Have the opportunity for a complimentary registration to NAP convention.
