How can PLATO assist you?
The educational programs offered at PLATO monthly meetings will cover many basic and advanced parliamentary procedure topics.
We are also available to provide your organization with the following services:
- Reference materials
- Study materials
- Officer training
- Study opportunities
- Speakers for groups
- Assist education groups (VICA, HOSA, FBLA, Debate) needing judges for competitions
- Design and conduct workshops or seminars tailored to your individual needs or those of your organization

Additionally, PLATO can provide you with a Professional Registered Parliamentarian(PRP) or a Registered Parliamentarian (RP) whose services* could include, but are not limited to:
- Serving as a convention parliamentarian to assist officers, boards, committees, and members as requested
- Training/preparation for conventions
- Bylaws consultation
- Consultation/advice on procedures
*Fees will vary based on the services provided.
Meeting Information
The PLATO Unit meets on the 4th Monday of the month at 7:00 pm. All are welcome to attend. Meeting locaiton:

Membership
PLATO is affiliated with the National Association of Parliamentarians, which offers a basic certification in parliamentary procedure (NAP), and advanced professional certification, Registered Parliamentarian (RP) and Professional Registered Parliamentarian (PRP), to qualified members.
We offer provisional membership to members of the community who are thinking about learning more about parliamentary procedure.
Annual membership dues, which include membership in PLATO and the Florida State Association of Parliamentarians (FSAP), are $30.00.
