CCPU IS STILL A LEADER IN UNIT ACTIVITIES
CCPU membership is still on the rise and we maintain our position as the largest Unit in NAP. Our reputation as a teaching unit is well known and our instructors remain very popular within FSAP for traveling to other units to present quality classes. At present, CCPU has six PRPs and one RP among the members with at least 7 NAP members now studying for the RP Exam.
As a side note, three of the CCPU PRPs have been asked to present our very popular Art Of Presiding class at the National Training Conference in Minnesota at the end of August, 2010. |

Information of Note
If you haven't already done so, make your plans to attend the National Training Conference in Minnesota. This is the biennial training conference for parliamentarians and for those interested in learning more about parliamentary procedure and effective meeting management. Approximately twenty-two topic specific workshops will be presented to meet your specific interests. The NAP annual meeting will be held at which the officer reports will be presented. A Bylaws revision forum will held to introduce you to the proposed NAP Bylaw amendments which will be considered for adoption at the next NAP biennial convention. For those members wishing to advance to Registered Parliamentarian (RP) status, a cram course will be offered to assist in your study preparations for the exam and an RP exam will be offered for those ready to take the exam.
